Overview

1.1. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
1.2. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
1.3. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned; Online Items such as workout programs, books, magazines, articles, journals and images cannot be returned; Custom Made Items such as made to order rigs in working condition or customer specific rigs in working condition cannot be fully refunded (see 3.1) We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

2.1. Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please wait for instructions on return addresses as the item may come from various factories.
3. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted
3.1. Books with obvious signs of use
3.2. CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
3.3. Custom Designed Rigs or orders that have aesthetic issues and no major functional issues.
3.4. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Pertaining to stock Items:
4.1. Your order and the items therein have to be inspected and negligence in construction proven before a refund can be cleared which can take up to 30 days.
4.1.1. In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act, in order to be eligible for a replacement or refund please notify us in writing within 5 calendar days of receipt of your purchase. Please do attach pictures wherever possible of physical damage on receipt of the product. The product must be in the same condition and original packaging as you received it.
4.1.2. We will arrange for a courier service to collect the item from original delivery address, unless advised otherwise.
*Note if the product is found to be in working order then the collection fee as well as the re-delivery fee to return the product to you will be for your account, and the goods will only be released after payment has been received.
4.1.3. After we receive your item, our team of professionals will inspect it, and arrange for a replacement to be dispatched to you, or alternatively process your refund.
4.1.4. Refunds will be paid as per the original payment method used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
4.1.5. If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 5 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
4.2. Items bought in place of items wanted are processed initially under Exchanges as part of our terms and conditions page.
4.3. Items that develop issues after 30 days are graded on an order to order basis, where the perceived issues are dealt with through the Manufacturer, BattleFit and The Customer.
4.4. Once your return is received and/or inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
4.5. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your account; credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds

5.1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Sale items
6.
6.1. Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless negligence in manufacturing can be proved as According to the consumer protection act.
Exchanges
7.
7.1. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged beyond safe use. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@battlefitequip.co.za and wait for a response from one of our reps.
Gifts
8.
8.1. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
8.2. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
9.
9.1. To return your product, you should email your product info to: info@battlefitequip.co.za.
9.2. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item should it be an issue that does not relate to functionality of the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Custom Rigs/ Standard Stock
Returns and Refunds
10.
10.1. In the case of a request of a custom made item, please refer to terms and conditions of purchase before familiarizing yourself with the refund.
10.2. As stated above returns and refunds of made to order items are payable after the first Protocol wherein the issues is rectified by the manufacturer of the specific item.
10.3. Should the client/customer not be able to use the rig after the first protocol is followed, then the refund amount would be between 30% and 70% of the purchase cost. This amount is subject to the nature of the issue, the perceived damage of the rig and the fault of the manufacturer.
10.4. It thus lies on the manufacturer to supply the refund according to the contract signed and agreed to with BattleFit. This process may take up to 30 days with the refund process taking up to another 30 days hence.
10.5. Should the rig be fully functional and made as expected and agreed upon, then the refund amount is limited to 30%
10.6. Should the Custom Made item deviate from the expected design by a large margin, then the possibility of refund increases to 70%.
10.7. Should the Custom Made item be fully functional and useable as expected but with missing aesthetics (plugs, end caps, bolts, paint) then the refund sits between a possible 30% – 50%
Under all legislation provided to the South African Manufacturer our factories are all made to comply to the standards set therein, thus liability for issues on all orders ultimately lie with the factories and our contracts with them. We reserve the right to withhold refunds, returns and exchanges until due process is completed between our factories and BattleFit. Upon purchase of any BattleFit product, the buyer agrees to the terms and conditions of purchase from BattleFit and the Refunds and Returns policy stated above.
